I love the end of my day. Work is done, boys are in bed and it is just my husband & I.
Earlier this week, I wrote about some goals for this year and one is to communicate better with my husband. We will celebrate 7 years of Marriage on the 28th and at times I find us side by side at the end of the day watching TV or on out computers and not speaking.
We used to talk about anything and everything. We are very busy and both work so it is not like we have nothing to talk about. I hope to take my favorite time of day and find a way to not just tune everyone out. The stress of work does that to me!

I often times find myself on the couch with my husband, each of us on our own computer, just like you guys. What seems to work for us is to simply close the laptops and put them out of reach and snuggle on the couch watching a show together.

ReplyDeleteI, too, love the end of my days. It's a nice time to relax from all the running and thinking I did and I can catch up with my husband. It's the only time we see each other during the day and it helps us connect.
