I love A Broken Wing by Martina McBride. This song came on about halfway home for me as I had packed all I could fit in my Nissan and drove the State away to leave my ex-boyfriend. Don't feel like going into details, but this song could not have come at a better time in my situation and I still listen to it every so often. It is pivotal and beautiful!

I love that song! Throughout my split from my husband of 12 yrs, I would hear that song and the song "Little Bit Stronger" and they would make me smile, and tear up all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Isn't it amazing how songs come at just the right time? When my sister passed away (she was 23), "I Die Young" was popular and it was very therapeutic for my family!
