OK. So this is more of a Website, but I have grown to become addicted to the daily Free App at Amazons App Store. I have an Android Smartphone and Android Software on my Acer Tablet and a 3 year old who likes to entertain himself on them. Many of the times the Free App is geared towards him. The most recent that is one of his favorites was the SuperWhy App that was free for a day.

When you go to the App store you will see the front screen has an App free for that day on the front page like the one below. You click on Get App. Log into your Amazon account and download it. Open the App store on your device-it will have it in the Que and Download it there! That simple. All the other Apps like the Kids and E Books are very reasonable in price. So remind yourself to log in daily and see if the Free App of the day is for you!

Review: The Handy Bryton Pick-Floss on the Go

 I was recently sent a packet of Bryton Pick Floss to review. I opened the envelope and thought "OK, this could be alright!" After sitting at the computer reading  y emails, i suddenly found myself flossing in my teeth with this over and over. It has a very flexible and soft edging and it works great even in the areas where my teethe are really close together. It is very handy. I immediately put the second one in my purse because I know I will be happy I have this one day when out and about!

My 3 Year Old's Dream

I was driving my son to Daycare this morning when he started this conversation:

A: Mommy, at night when my eyes were closed I was walking and walking and I saw you at the Chinese Food Place!
Me: Um-what?
A: I was walking and walking then I found you!
Me: Oh! Did you have a dream you walked to the Chinese Restaurant?
A: NO! Ummmm...Yes!
Me: ?
A: I mean I was lost and Maddox (daycare friend) was with me and I could not find you. But I found you at the
     Chinese Food place and you gave me soup! But Maddox could not come in!
Me: Well, A you had a Dream. And if you were really lost, I would not be at the Chinese Restaurant eating! I
      would be out looking for you, right?
A: Yes! And Mommy...I want to go to that restaurant and eat that soup!
Me: You liked the soup, did you?

Later as I picked him up from Daycare...yes it continued LATER!

A: Mommy, can we go?
Me: Where?
A: To that Chinese Place.
Me: Really? Baby, that was just a dream.
A: But I want that soup!
Me: What kind of soup was it?
A: Umm..I Don't know...the one that has stuff in it!
Me: So....you want me to take you to the Chinese Food Restaurant that you found in your dream and order

A: Yup!

I have to say that cooking is not my thing. The reason I say that is that I do not know how. I lack creativity in that field! And to think I have a brother who is a successful Chef. It goes to show that once you start trying and reading recipes, that you just start to "Get It". However, it is overwhelming these days to keep track of recipes. With so many Magazines, Blogs, Websites- where do you begin? And what if I don't want to browse through 100 recipes to figure out what to do with that can of soup or leftovers? As a Chef, my brother has a program (YES! Even Chef's turn to tools similar to Cook'n Recipe Organizer). But my brother's is complicated. The Instructions are foreign and the average household could not comprehend and follow it. When I was chatting with him about how I am trying out the Cook'n Recipe Organizer, he agreed it is the closest thing to his program he has heard of and much simpler for someone like me (haha "someone like me!" funny!). Here is a short video that says it all:

Is that not the coolest?! So, since there is no dialogue because the video is visual and still says it all I will recap with words..here we go: Open those cupboards and fridge door 20 times, when nothing jumps out at you then Load your Cook'n Recipe Organizer. Type ingredients you have and a simple list of recipes from all over the web matching your list comes up. Find one, CAPTURE it (it is a button that says Capture :-) and it will grab the recipe and picture and leave out extra unnecessary page words. Grab it and edit it-can change serving size to fit your needs and watch measurements auto adjust. Hit shopping List (it is a Button that says List..too easy :-) and it will allow you to check off the ingredients you already have and leave you with your shopping list of things you need AND that shopping list is organized into aisles within the store (Dairy/Soups/Meats, etc..). You can load the recipe into your Phone/device instead of printing list or recipe on paper. Take your device to the store for shopping list or to your counter to read the recipe! You can add your personal recipes, create chapters and order a bounded Cook Book to take to a printer for a Personalized gift for family of all your favorite recipes.
The only negative I have was the amount of time wasted sitting here trying to think of a negative! Really, I am in love with this. Not only will it allow me to experiment, but will save me so much money when shopping ingredients!

HOWEVER, I have yet to have a problem (or other problems I used to have) since switching from using Internet Explorer to Google Chrome! Might want to use Chrome and see if it works better for you. I love it!

Are Your Blog Comments not loading? It can cost you Giveaway Entries!

I have had a few emails from my posts or Giveaways where comments will not load. Does this sound like you?

You want to leave a comment-most crucial is when it is required for a Giveaway entry and the page freshens and your comment does not load. The fix is simple. It should work for many of you unless you have some other issues happening!

Go to your Internet Options!
   -Can get there via Control Panel in Start Menu or drop down from Tools Icon in your browser (the icon that
      looks like a wrench for most)
   - Click on Delete Browser History and Delete Cookies
   - In  the General Tab-under Home- you will see a Browsing History Section-Click Delete
   - Restart your Computer (sometimes all you have to do is exit all your Internet windows & go back in)
   - It should work now!

ONE MORE NOTE! Ever since I recently stopped using Internet Explorer and went with Google Chrome. I no longer have this issue and I no longer have a lot of loading issues I had with IE. Google Chrome is so easy to install-just Google it! and use that Icon to enter the Internet instead of the IE icon. I love it. My techy friend told me all the quirky issues I had around XMAS was because I am using IE which has been causing problems. I love it and it is flawless so far!
